The discovery of Ana's string and the way to Jorge's stone on 7 August, 2005
The six creeks or beaches between Azenhas and Aguda were named as follows by 93 year old Dona Ermelinda, then a neighbor of my namesake Jorge Sà Pessoa:
Asvideira
Carrado do Mato
Azeite Amarelo
Arriba Quebrada
Laredo das Pias
Raposinho
They became our favorite weekend hiking path as we discovered a footpath leading to rocks above one of them, which was viable for us as well as for Whoopy.  Then on the 9th anniversary of this site we discovered thnaks to Ana another path much closer to Aguda and going to the most remote of those small beaches, possibly the one called broken cliff (Arriba Quebrada). Because the footpath required the use of a precarious looking rope, we called it "corda da Ana" (Ana's string in line with dinner conversations inspired by Brian Greene). The end of the previous path also became recognizable through a rock dangerously sliding into the waves, duly labeled "lapa do Jorge" (Jorge's stone, in line with our common musical preferences when we met in Angola).
Subsequent exploration showed
a barrel sized "Jorges' hole"   in the middle of the path going out into the sea. This hole is visible from the top of the cliff, once you know it's there!
