Big Beach
Originally it was called Praia Grande da Lagoa, because of the existence of a fresh water pond at its Southern tip, shown on the picture taken on Christmas' Eve, 1997 by afreitas@pasteur.fr.
Big Beach's notoriety has been rising over the last three decades, to the point that people come from  South of the Sintra mountain in the summertime and have Brazilian drinks about where you can see a ripped icecream flag.
